BASF uses alternative methods in toxicological testing wherever it is possible and scientifically sound. For the last two decades, BASF has been developing and validating alternative methods to further their use and regulatory acceptance. Recent developments include the skin sensitization in vitro test strategy and MetaMap®Tox Profiler to detect toxicological modes of action. |
